How It Started
2010s
Co-founders Michelle Yow and Jesse Horne met several years ago while working in the specialty coffee world in Charlotte, NC. Their paths separated for a while and then merged again after they both bought homes in Mount Holly and found a shared love for their small town. From supporting local businesses to attending Mount Holly Nights and other events throughout the year, they have grown to love the awesome people and community that Mount Holly has created.

How It’s Going
2024
Our team loves Mount Holly, but we were missing the specialty coffee world that we used to live in. Coming from small southern towns ourselves, we want to get involved in the Mount Holly community and share our love and excitement for coffee with the folks who live here. Inspired by the coffee van of our friends and roasters at Prophet Coffee of Charleston, SC, we built out a 1998 Daihatsu Atrai van to have all the equipment needed for a specialty coffee shop. We aim to serve quality coffee with excellent service, accessible pricing, and no pretension.
